About Me

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, I received my B.A. degree from Wellesley College with a double major in Italian and Medieval/Renaissance Studies. In college I spent one year studying at the University of Bologna, which was my first experience living in Italy. I then continued on to law school at Wake Forest University, spending my summers interning at law firms in Bologna and Florence. After being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar, I moved to Italy and worked in Florence for four years before returning to the U.S. and starting my freelance translation business.

I am a member of the American Translators Association and the Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators.
